Help Menu

Using the Menu Bar
The search engine
The search engine enables you to search the course webspace for a word, phrase or combination of words. The search is all-inclusive so searching for the word 'the' (not recommended) will also turn up words like 'these' and 'theatre'. The search is also case insensitive, with the exception of search commands like AND and OR, which must be in capital letters.
To use the search engine to find combinations of words, you may use AND and OR between two words to search for documents containing both words (AND) or documents containing either word (OR).
The search engine will return a listing of all documents containing the word(s) searched for, and you can load one of these in the main window just by clicking on the document's title.
Glossary
The glossary contains key terms and definitions specific to this course. The glossary can be searched by using the Netscape 'Find' function, available under the edit menu or on the toolbar (the binoculars icon).
Help on help
The help button takes you to the first help screen, from which the various help topics are available. Help is available for the majority of concerns that a user may have, but if you have any problems with the course material, or believe that you may have found an error, or a programming bug, contact your course instructor with the details.
